Barclays Center is the premier stadium in Brooklyn, New York and became an immediate architectural icon when it opened in 2012. Like most spaces built before 2014, LEDs were not included in the original lighting plan. When Barclays evaluated Wavelength against competitors, they found that we were able to address a wider variety of lighting applications and offer a lower total installed cost than anyone in the marketplace. Because the existing fixtures and ballasts were relatively new, Wavelength provided a lamp-for-lamp solution that did not require installing new fixtures and electronics. By completing this project, Barclays has increased light levels throughout the facility, dramatically reduced the operational burden of their lighting, and accomplished a major sustainability initiative.

Horizon Media helps the world's largest advertisers navigate the new world of media engagement. Their office is one of the most beautiful and dynamic spaces in New York. The lighting system they have is diverse for a variety of applications—linear pendant uplights in open office areas, recessed downlighting in conference rooms, and decorative pendants throughout social spaces. Wavelength was able to match and improve the lighting in all of their fixtures and tie the aesthetic to the design of the firm’s newly developed offices.

McDermott Will & Emery is an international law firm with offices in Midtown Manhattan. They specialize in transactional and regulatory law with recognized strength in tax, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, health care, and high-stakes litigation. Realizing the savings that LED lighting can provide, their facilities team decided to update their class A office with a lamp replacement, retaining the ballasts and fixtures already in the space and reducing costs. Children’s Museum of Art is a nonprofit arts facility that brings hands-on art programming to children throughout New York City.
